CNC Programmer

  • Assist and facilitate production by programming, verifying, and improving processes to produce machined parts on CNC machines.
  • Responsible for programming, management, documentation, and implementation of CNC programs. 
  • Receive work assignments and schedule programming work by due date.
  • Review prints and models to determine ideal machine and tooling to efficiently and cost effectively run parts on the CNC.
  • Verify programs, tooling, and fixtures and communicate with plant management and machine operators to ensure quality parts are produced. 
  • Setup and operate a variety of CNC machines when necessary to ensure efficient operation. 
  • Consistently interpret and enforce plant policies and practices regarding performance, safety, etc.
  • Develop and support a 5 S mindset in respective areas



  • Computer software knowledge including Microsoft office products
  • High level of attention to detail, critical thinking, and proficiency in math and blueprint reading. 
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. 
  • Must read blueprints and create cut lists. 
  • Maintain records of tasks and duties performed. 
  • Excellent communication skills (phone, written, verbal)
  • Demonstrated success in teamwork, change management and continuous improvement


  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with CNC machines required.
  • CAD fabrication and AutoCAD experience is preferred.
  • Technical Degree/Vo-Tech Certification in CNC Programming or related field is a plus.
