Welding Fabrication

Location: ICI Laboratory Products Division Union City TN Campus
Department: Welding Fabrication

Instructions

  • Fabricate and manufacture metal parts for later assembly.
  • Follow blueprints to ensure exact specifications of output.
  • Produce strong, clean welds.
  • Test output to ensure strength and tolerance of welds.

Requirements

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
  • Must be able to bend and stoop during shift.

Experience

  • Prior experience welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals.
  • Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment.
  • Blueprint reading and knowledge of common welding symbols.

Education

  •  Welding Certificate or experience welding in a manufacturing environment.
