Michael Cook is the Business Development/OEM & Dealer Manager for ICI. He actively participates with dealers on product and material specifications, project review, scope and design requirements. Mike works with building owner, architects and GC/CM to offer a comprehensive, cost-effective project solutions.
Jim Arthurs is the President/CEO/Owner of ICI. He actively participates in laboratory projects from concept to final completion. Jim specializes in transforming a customer’s project vision into reality. He brings years of experience of institutional casework and fume hoods to the presentation.
Understanding that the fume hood is one of the most important pieces of safety equipment in any laboratory. The presentation focuses awareness of key design elements and special precautions for safe operating procedures.
Discussions of why independent performance testing of wood laboratory casework is important and recommended will be discussed.
The main objective will be understanding wood terminology and the industry standards (AWI, ANSI/HPVA, SEFA, LEED, etc.).
